Le prime testimonianze di questo hotel risalgono al 1706 e, nonostante sia difficile da immaginare, quello che poi diventò il Nentwichof si trovava in aperta campagna. Durante il XIX secolo l'hotel fu più volte ricostruito ed ampliato, ed un'ingente quantità di denaro fu investita per trasformarlo nel prestigioso edificio che è oggi. Grazie ad una profonda ristrutturazione avvenuta nella primavera del 2002, l'hotel offre comfort moderno in tipico stile viennese e comprende un totale di 65 camere. La dotazione di questo hotel residenziale comprende hall, cassetta di sicurezza, ascensori, caffetteria, parrucchiere e ristorante.
